Can I Use My Own Domain Name With a WordPress Sandbox?

Yes. You can connect either a subdomain or a root domain to your WordPress sandbox.

To connect a domain, create a CNAME record pointing to:

dev-yoosandbox.tempurl.host

Once the DNS record has been added, contact our support team and we will connect the domain to your sandbox.

If you do not have your own domain, you can choose a subdomain of wpsandboxes.com during the ordering process. Generic names are accepted, although certain reserved names such as “www”, “admin” and “dev” are not available.
